After a life of decluttering experience ( seriously , I ’ve been happily decluttering since I was a small child ) , I ’ve learned that there are some decluttering mistakes that can keep you from accomplish the mythological results that you require .
I want you to be successful as you work to declutter your base , so I ’ll rent you in on seven error that could trip you up and , most importantly , what to do rather .

1. Waiting For More Time

4. Starting With Other People’s Stuff

6. Forgetting to Reflect
unluckily , decluttering is n’t really a “ one and done ” activity . Stuff keeps entering your base , so you keep having to deal with it .

Every time you declutter , take a tone at the pile of stuff you ’re getting rid of and canvass it for a minute . Where did it all come from ?
Did your kidskin simply develop out of the clothes they were wearing or did you buy more than they needed ? Or did you live with hand - me - pile you did n’t need ? you could change how you play drop dead forrad to keep the supererogatory stuff from making its way into your sign of the zodiac .

Only save clobber for a service department sale if you actually have a service department sales agreement engagement schedule on your calendar . If you want to sell some items separately , give yourself a deadline to do it by . If you have n’t done it by then , donate them .
