We have a lot of fun with our dog , Mozzie . We play him with us pretty much everywhere unless it ’s somewhere he ’s not allowed ( work and grocery shopping and such … ) .

Hide-A-Treat Game
Mozzie screw this secret plan ! essentially , I bulge out by making him seat and stay in the kitchen . While he ’s there , I take the air into the next room and hide one of his treats somewhere . Then I go back into the kitchen and tell him to go find it . He gets to use his amazing good sense of smell to sniff out his treat .
bakshis : This crop best with icky treats , not just biscuit , since they have to sniffle it out . We used to use steak treats ( like this ) . Since Mozzie has to take a joint supplement to help with his knee problem , we use the stinkyjoint treatsfor his blot out - a - delicacy plot now .
When you ’re teaching your cad how to play , it work well to have one individual rest with him to check that he stays put while the other someone hides the goody . We use the control “ go determine it ” to tell him he can go research .
Walks
All frump need to go for walkway . We go for day-to-day walk with Mozzie .
Since he ’s not passing gamy - energy , we usually just take the air around the neighborhood . When we get world-weary of that , we find other places to walk ! We walk the trails at a nearby park . We walk to the dog park . We take the air around the beach .
Going for daily base on balls is part of our family routine , so we do n’t just cerebrate of it as “ walk the hound ” . We go for walks all the clock time before we had a dog . It ’s fun to come up new billet to walk because it ’s interesting and fun for all of us !
Hide & Seek
This secret plan cracks me up . Austin will go enshroud in our bedroom and I ’ll tell Mozzie , “ go feel your pop - pop ” . Mozzie will run up to our room and search under the covers , in the curtains , and in the wardrobe . When he finds him , we all urge .
Then Austin will take Mozzie out of the room and I ’ll hide and we repeat the search . It ’s really fun and wears him out pretty quickly .
Catch

Indoor Agility Course
I started this in the middle of winter when we were all catch excite crazy .

We ’ve taken Mozzie into many hardware stores as well as Tractor Supply and pet supplying stores . I found thislist of store that usually allow dogs . It ’s best to replicate hindrance with single locations though .
Dog Park
Our townspeople just got a dog park and we ’ve taken Mozzie a few times .
We have a fenced in yard , so we ’re not too implicated about rent him track down around . If you do n’t have a yard for your dog , dog parks are an awe-inspiring way to countenance your doggie run some energy off without being on a tether .

Michigan has beaches everywhere ! Not all of them allow dog , but there are quite a few dog beaches . If you ’ve got a high - energy hotdog , it ’s got to be an awing agency to burn some vigour .
Last weekend , we brought Mozzie with us to Grand Haven . Dogs are n’t permit on the main beach , but they can walk along the boardwalk out to the beacon light . it was a ton of fun and a serious walkway for all of us . He waited in bloodline with us to get Pronto Pups and sat in our laps while we watched the Musical Fountain .
Having a domestic dog is really fun and there are so many playfulness body process that you’re able to do with your hotdog . The more you do with your dog , the more they will get used to it and be good about listen to you and going novel place .
