A few month ago we sell our house , moved to a Modern metropolis and into an flat .
We got rid of an mad amount of stuff including furniture , vacation interior decoration , clothing , G prick , and much more .
The quandary we run into was this : We only sign a 9 - calendar month term of a contract because we ’re plan to buy a house within a twelvemonth . Well , we did n’t want to get rid of certain thing because while we would n’t need them in a midget flat , we would want them in our next house . Our apartment can palpate a bit cramped because of this problem .
We did n’t need to pay for a storage building block and we did n’t have anyone who could store a comely amount of our clobber for us , so we got rid of as much as we perhaps could . We will have to buy back some things when we get a house , but we hold launch the detail most important to us and that we will want right away for new house .
Anyway , today I ’m showing you our apartment wardrobe . This W.C. check almost all of our storage items along with our clothing . It ’s never function to be on the cover a clip for seem pretty , but it is organized and operational . material life , y’ all .
I always wish to spy other hoi polloi ’s dwelling to see how they ’ve used their space , so I ’m inviting you into my closet .

I ’m sorry the pictures are n’t great timbre . It ’s not a vivid domain and we have n’t check the sun here in weeks , so it was hard to get decent inflammation for photo .
Our skillful apparel are hang up and our comfy wearing apparel are on the ledge in the middle . We call for to get to our clothes more often than anything else , so that ’s what is easiest to get at .
Before we move I buy a package ofslim hangersthat are velvety so nothing can slide off . I ’m loving them ! I ’d like to get one more pack at some point so that all of our hanging clothes can be on them .

I ’ve usedplastic drawersfor days and they ’re just so darn handy . in good order now they ’re hold our small seasonal decorations and our tools . Before we had a dresser , I stored our socks and underclothing in these .
I have a few shallow tubs that tally all of my fabric stacked in the top of the closet .
I wanted to betoken out my littlefire escape ladder . I grew up in a ranch house . When we move into our first firm , a 2 - story , it freaked me to have our chamber on the second floor . I bought a fire escapism run which , of course , I hope we never have to use but it make me feel much safer .
We hold up in West Michigan , so we have a solid amount of winter clothing . supernumerary hats , scarfs , and baseball mitt are in the black milk crate .
My favorite decor items are my tray . I have different decorative trays that I put on our dining table for each season / holiday . I care them because they ’re pretty and make a big impact while still being simple and uncluttered - looking . I use ashoe organizerin the top of the closet to store my tray . They ’re oddly shaped and flimsy , so this retain them safe .
Over on the right side of the closet, We have our storage tubs stacked. Here’s a better view:

Austin and I each have a bathing tub of souvenir from our childhood .
I have two tubs that contain my Grandma ’s china ( it ’s altogether gorgeous ) . We do n’t have anywhere else to store it right now . I ’m hop our new rest home will have the place for me to take out it so that we can in reality use it !
The other tubs contain spare kitchen items that we do n’t have way for . Plus , you may see our suitcase and redundant packsack .

The clothing enfold in plastic is Austin ’s case and my dress from our marriage ceremony . My sewing auto is in front because I use it fairly often and like it to be easily accessed .
Back behind everything else are our Christmas decorations .
The big box seat is our Christmas Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree . The green tub and the two smaller boxes on top of it contain our Christmas lights , ornaments , stocking …
I purged a long ton of Christmas stuff before we moved . When we pull it all out to decorate last Christmas , I was really glad with what we had leave alone . It was all of our preferred and most meaningful things .
The low crate has a bunch of depiction physique wrap up up in it . Since we know we wo nt be stay at this apartment for long , we resolve not to hang all of our picture and art .

It feels quite halter right now , but I consider we when get a house again our house will palpate a bit empty 🙂
