Delicious and extremely healthy ? It does n’t really get any beneficial than that . These make a stark snack or grab - and - go breakfast .
When Austin and I almost completely stopped eating added sugar , I was able to cut the honey out of this recipe and it ’s still effective !

Kitchen Supplies
You do n’t want anything special to make these but I have a few kitchen favorites that make the line easier :
Silicone Muffin Cups : I do n’t own a gem canister . I just place the silicone muffin cup on a cookie sheet . The muffins slide aright out when they ’re done and the cups take up elbow room less blank in my cupboard than a muffin tin .
Cookie Scoop : I have a large cooky scoop that I always use to smooch the muffin slugger into the muffin cup . I ’ve base that the cookie liquid ecstasy just helps me make less of a flock .
Kitchenaid Stand Mixer : It ’s not necessary , but it sure enough make almost every recipe I make a little easier ! I got my mixer as a wedding giving and have been completely happy with it ( though I care it were a unlike colour 🙂 ) .

Preheat oven to 375 ° .
In a roll , stir together the whole wheat flour , bake powder , bake sal soda , salt , cinnamon , and nuts .
In a disjoined bowl or fend social , merge all of the wet ingredients until combined well . I use my Kitchenaid abide sociable to mash the bananas , then mix in the egg , applesauce , beloved , vanilla extract , and yogurt .
Stir the teetotal variety into the wet mix until just combined .
Spoon the batter in 12 gem cup . The muffin cup will be close to full ( these do n’t rise very much ) .
Bake at 375 ° for 22 minutes . They will be golden brown on top when they ’re done . I also like to lightly crusade on the top of a muffin . It should be firm and not squishy when you press on the top .
provide the muffins to cool a bit before you feed them !
We store these good for you banana tree muffins in the refrigerator for up to a hebdomad . I like to warm them up in the microwave oven for about 15 seconds before I rust them 😍 . FYI , because they are mostly made of banana tree , they are very moist and may have a slimly different grain than a normal muffin .
We are seriously in love with these muffins . I ’m so glad to have such a healthy breakfast / bite formula !
