After the event of " Captain America : Civil War " it looked as though nothing could reunite our favorite hero , like Captain America and Iron Man , into fight against some larger threat . But the poke for " Avengers : Infinity War " present us that something bigger is coming . Something that imperil the entire galaxy , bringing together all of the heroes of Earth and space to fight a foe beyond any of them .
Thanos .
But why is Thanos so shuddery ?
Let ’s look to thecomic booksthese films are slackly based on for an answer . In " Silver Surfer : The Rebirth of Thanos , " we learn much about Thanos . He ’s a demigod from the major planet Titan with a hungriness for last . " These stones each contain infinite powers , which is why they ’re called Infinity Stones .
Any one or two of them in the will power of a being capable of wielding the Stone would be bad tidings since combine , they can warp reality around them . Thanos would be fix only by his imaging . " Rebirth of Thanos " documents his quest to accumulate each stone , with each scenario wager out like an episode of " The Twilight Zone . Since " Avengers : Infinity War " is merely the first film in this cycle , we should amply expect this film to terminate in frustration for our heroes . It would n’t be out of the realm of hypothesis if the photographic film terminate with Thanos offer up his sly smile and , with the limitless power of the Infinity Gauntlet , he snaps his fingers and the moving picture cuts to black .
